Frequently Asked Questions
What pressure washer requirements are needed for this foam cannon?
The Tool Daily Foam Cannon works best with pressure washers rated between 1000 PSI and 3600 PSI. For optimal performance, a flow rate of at least 1.75 GPM (gallons per minute) is recommended, though it can work with lower-powered electric units.
Can I use this with a standard garden hose?
No. This foam cannon is designed specifically for high-pressure washers and requires that pressure to create the thick, clinging "shaving cream" foam.
How do I get the thickest foam output?
For best results, mix 3-5 ounces of high-sudsing car soap with warm water in the bottle. Turn the top dial (soap adjustment knob) clockwise for more soap, and adjust the nozzle for a wider spray pattern.
What if I have a lower-powered electric pressure washer?
If you are using a smaller electric pressure washer (under 1500 PSI) and getting watery foam, swap the pre-installed orifice with the 1.1 mm orifice nozzle included in your package. This creates more backpressure, resulting in thicker suds.
What is included in the package?
The kit includes the foam cannon with a 1/4" quick connector, a 1-liter bottle, and 5 nozzle tips (0, 15, 25, 40, 65 degrees) to cover all your cleaning needs, from car washing to driveway cleaning.
Can I use this for things other than cars?
Yes! It is highly versatile and excellent for cleaning motorcycles, siding, roofs, driveways, floors, and windows.
How do I clean and maintain the foam cannon?
To prevent clogging, run a bottle of clean water through the cannon for 30 seconds after each use to wash out any leftover soap. If the mesh filter gets clogged, you can unscrew the nozzle tip and clean it with the provided maintenance tools.
